NEW MEXICO MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION SELECTS CLOVIS STUDENTS TO PERFORM

CLOVIS (KSMX) – Clovis Municipal School Officials announced that the New Mexico Music Educators Association selected 23 Clovis students to perform with the 2019 All-state Ensemble following auditions held by the Association earlier this month at Eastern New Mexico University. The 23 students were selected from Clovis High School Freshman Academy and Clovis High School and include Chris Howe from the Freshman Academy, Karyssa Gonzales, Autumn Kincheloe, Melissa Reyna, Gracie Crane, Ramond Garcia, Kevin Avila, David Garcia from the CHS Concert band. From Concert Orchestra Alex Gonzales and Malaki Henry. Landon Jordan from the Symphony Orchestra and Alejandra Mulgado, Chandler Culberth, Avery Rayford, Jessica Smart, Julian Garcia, Kyle Boddy, Kolby Stumpf, Luis Olvera, Adam Duran, Seth Romero Curtis Walsh and Jack Curry with the Symphony Band. Selection was based on their overall score from those auditions. The students will attend the conference and concert in January at UNM in Albuquerque.
