New Mexico DOT to begin roadway project on US 70

The Department of Transportation announced that a new pavement rehabilitation project on US 70 (from milepost 370 to milepost 385, between Roswell and Elida) will begin on Tuesday, August 8.

Project hours of operation will be from 6:30 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with a projected completion date of mid-November, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect single-lane closures on US 70 westbound for the duration of the project.
