New Mexico COVID-19 cases now at 281; 2 additional deaths

SANTA FE (KSMX)- New Mexico state health officials on Monday announced 44 additional positive tests for COVID-19 bringing the total cases to 281. Curry County’s number of cases remains at 3 and Roosevelt County remains at 1.
The Department of Health on Monday also reported two additional deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19. All individuals who have died did have underlying medic conditions. The number of deaths in the state related to COVID-19 is now four.
Those cases are:
- A female in her 90s in Bernalillo County who died today, Monday, March 30th. The individual had been hospitalized and had an underlying medical condition.
- A female in her 70s in Bernalillo County who died today, Monday, March 30th. The individual had been hospitalized and had an underlying medical condition.
Including the above newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 281 positive tests for COVID-19:

County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.
As of today, there are 24 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. This number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are currently hospitalized in New Mexico. This number does not include New Mexicans who tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been transferred to a hospital out of state.
