NEW CITY ORDINANCE TO INCREASE COSTS 5% TO LOCAL RESIDENTS

On December 3, 2020, the Clovis City Commission approved an ordinance, which was recommended by the 2020 Revenue Review committee, to issue a 5% increase for landfill, refuse, and sewer fees. The Clovis City Code has been amended to reflect this change, and that increase will take effect as of January 1, 2021.

In accordance with this change, future Clovis residential refuse (garbage) and all sewer accounts will be billed on a monthly basis. Customers who have received residential refuse and sewer bills in November and December 2020 will not receive monthly bills until their next cycle (February 2021 and March 2021).
The monthly residential refuse (garbage) rate will be around $16.61 per month, depending on your residential property.
