MULESHOE MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER
BOVINA (KSMX)- Yesterday (August 5) at approximately 10 am, Texas Rangers and Bovina Police responded to a scene where a woman was found dead in Bovina. They have since taken a man into custody and charged him with murder.
According to Bovina Police Chief Joe Orozco, Texas Rangers have taken lead in the investigation. The woman has been identified as Erica Sanchez, 31, of Bovina. Officials said the suspect, Michael Orozco, 39, of Muleshoe, has been charged with murder and is currently in police custody.
This is an active and ongoing investigation and all findings will be turned over to the Parmer County District Attorney’s Office.
