EASTERN NM (KSMX) – A few meetings are taking place in both Clovis and Portales. First, the Clovis City Commission will be holding their regular meeting scheduled for this evening. During their meeting, commissioners are expected to discuss software license and services agreement for the Clovis Area Transit System, repealing the 2006 edition of the International Fire Code and adopting the 2015 edition, and a request to enter into a contract with Bohanna Huston to develop procurement & Contracting documents for the Ned Houk Shooting Range. The meeting of the Clovis City Commission is set for today at 5:15 p.m. in the North Annex of the Clovis-Carver Library. Then coming up on Monday, the City of Portales will be holding a public hearing for public input regarding the ADA Transition Plan. A Power Point presentation will be shown to give information, then following, the community will be able to give their input. The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, in the Council Chambers at the Memorial Building in Portales at 4 p.m.
