MEDICAL MARIJUANA BILL ADVANCES DURING LEGISLATIVE SESSION
SANTA FE (KSMX) – A bill to make recreational marijuana has advanced in the New Mexico State House. The resolution now awaits a vote by the full house. The proposed law makes it legal for anyone 21 and older to possess two ounces or less and grow six plants in their home. It would allow towns and cities to prohibit sale of marijuana. A similar bill in the Senate doesn’t allow for home growing.
