MAN ARRESTED ON 6 COUNTS OF CRIMINAL CONTACT WITH A MINOR
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Curry County investigators arrested Davin Waters of Farwell, Tx, on May 26th charging him with six counts of Criminal Contact with a Minor perpetrated on a child under 13 years old. This is a 2nddegree felony.
It is claimed that Waters did unlawfully and intentionally touch a child on three separate occasions, beginning in December 2018, while in a bathroom at a church in Texico.
Waters was employed as a deputy sheriff in Parmer County, Texas but has since been terminated.
Waters was booked into the Curry County Detention Center, where he is being held pending a detention hearing.
The investigation is continuing.
