MAIL IN BALLOTS SHOULD ARRIVE TODAY
PORTALES (KSEL)- Today, Residents of Portales should be receiving a special mail ballot in their mail. This special mail election will be to determine as to whether the ordinance to amend and revise the City’s Economic Development Goals, should become effective. The ordinance changes the existing City Code expanding the purpose for economic development funds, but does not increase the existing sales tax. Completed ballots must be received by the City Clerk’s Office by 7:00 p.m. on April 4th. Questions concerning the mail in ballot, can be directed to the City Clerk.
