Lubbock man faces murder charges.
CLOVIS (KSMX)- A Lubbock man will face a second-degree murder charge on allegations he fatally shot a Clovis man in November.
Steven Hogues, 34, was indicted Friday by a Curry County grand jury for the second-degree murder charge, plus a charge of firearm possession by a felon.
Hogues, arrested Nov. 23 in Amarillo without incident, is accused of shooting William Romero of Clovis the day before in the course of an argument.
He has been booked in the Curry County Adult Detention Center since Jan. 7, following extradition for Texas.
