Long-term road work project begins Monday
Department of Transportation has announced planned lane closures in Clovis starting Monday July 24th.
A portion of US 60 from Ash St. to Sycamore St will be closed in addition to a portion of Santa Fe Ave will shut down as they complete part of a $38.8 million reconstruction project.
The plan includes adding new traffic lights, drainage structures, sidewalks and gutters, and is expected to be finished by Summer 2025.
Road crews will begin work at 7 am until 5:30 pm Monday through Friday so plan for slow traffic in those areas during work hours.
