LOCAL PAID INTERNSHIPS FOR CURRENT LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL JUNIORS AND SENIORS FOR THE UPCOMING SUMMER!
Curry County is beginning to look for current Juniors and Seniors in High School (class of 2021 and 2022) who would be interested in a paid 6-week internship with professional business entities within our community.
– 19.75 Hours a week
– More than $10.50 per hour
– Hands on Training on Employability Skills and Career Exploration with Top Professionals in Various Career Fields.

Curry County will be looking to bring in 40 interns and assist them with amazing career exploration opportunities while also training them on employability skills.
The federal government has committed more than $9.89 million in funding for a Summer Enrichment Internship Program, as part of pandemic relief efforts. Funding is available to cover the cost of summer internships for current high school Juniors and Seniors (to include graduating Seniors) in June-September 2021 only.
The goal of this funding is to provide high school students with the opportunity to participate in high-quality internships in government agencies, including county and/or municipal placements, and businesses.
