LITTLE WOMEN IS COMING TO ENMU
Eastern New Mexico University’s Departments of Music and Theatre and Digital Filmmaking are proud to present Jason Howland’s and Mindi Dickstein’s “Little Women: The Broadway Musical” in the University Theater Center on March 3-6. Performed by ENMU students, “Little Women” is directed by Dr. Travis Sherwood with musical direction by Dr. Gregory Gallagher.
One highlight of the musical features a pre-show lecture by Dr. Linda Sumption, an associate professor in ENMU’s English department, focused on the original novel, “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott. The lecture portion of the musical is at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th-5th and 1:30 p.m. on the 6th.
Admission is free for ENMU students with a valid student ID. General admission is $10, Those 60 and over and active-duty military are $7. Tickets can be purchased at the door before the event, or reserved ahead of time by calling (575) 562-2711. The musical starts at 7 p.m. March 3rd-5th, and 2 p.m. on March 6th. The doors open 30 minutes prior to the event.
