LEASH LAWS CARRIED IN CLOVIS
CLOVIS (KSMX)- As well as voting for the adoption of the Racino economic support, last night’s commission meeting got heated with controversy over the adoption of leash laws in the City of Clovis. Many citizens showed up to the event to argue their point for either pro-leash laws or against. Many seemed to disapprove of the laws being forced in dog parks as well as many concerned for the safety of their dogs and themselves for those who have control problems with their animals.
After what seemed to be well over thirty minutes of debate, the issue was called to question and the vote for leash laws in Clovis, NM was passed 7-0.
