LEDA RECOVERY GRANTS NOW AVAILABLE
Beginning May 11, rent, lease, and mortgage relief will be available for New Mexico businesses through the New Mexico Finance Authority’s LEDA Recovery Grants Program that meet job creation and economic development requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- business operating in New Mexico
- at least one, but fewer than 75 full-time or part-time employees at any business location
- current on all state and local tax obligations
- experienced decline in business revenue in taxable years 2019 and 2020
The only eligible expenses for these grants are reimbursements of rent, lease, or mortgage payments for the building occupied by the business. Grant amounts are based on a combination of revenue decline, the number of new full-time-equivalent (FTE) positions hired, and the hourly wages of new positions.
