LAW ENFORCEMENT THROUGHOUT NEIGHBORING COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO EXECUTE ARRESTS IN LONG-TERM INVESTIGATION

On December 20th, 2021, law enforcement throughout southeast New Mexico came together to execute a series of search and arrest warrants throughout Roosevelt County. This was the product of a long-term investigation conducted by the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office, the Portales Police Department, and the Region 5 Drug Task Force.

Through their combined efforts law enforcement seized methamphetamine, prescription pills, and suspected fentanyl pills from multiple locations; along with the materials and equipment used to distribute them throughout our community. Evidence uncovered in this investigation has also generated leads in cases throughout the region.

The following arrests were made:

Chance Plummer (age 35, of Portales)

Rachel Hibbard (age 33, of Portales

Kourtney Correll (age 27, of Clovis)

Andrew Plummer (age 20, of Portales)

Rodolfo Sotelo (age 44, of Portales).

Kevin Rogers (age 35, of Portales)

Jessica Green (Age 39, of Portales)

Additionally, an arrest warrant has been issued for Roy Lane (age 41, of Portales) for the crimes of trafficking a controlled substance, conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, and conspiracy to intimidate a witness.

This investigation remains ongoing and additional charges may be filed.
