LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ARREST NINE IN JOINT INVESTIGATION
CLOVIS (KSMX) – Last week a joint law enforcement effort including Clovis, Portales and New Mexico State police netted nine arrests for a number of illegal activities including violations of illegal narcotics, sale of illegal firearms and possession of firearms by prohibited persons. The operation, known as “operation Street Sweeper”, was from a joint investigation between local and federal law enforcement agencies, involving the ongoing criminal actions of numerous defendants; according to a release from the Clovis PD. The investigation is still ongoing and investigators and agents involved in this operation continue to work on these cases to complete this investigation.
