KENW-TV at ENMU to Broadcast Teaching Lessons on Weekdays
PORTALES (KSEL)- The PBS affiliation, KENW-TV at ENMU will broadcast teaching lessons on weekdays according to a press release from Eastern New Mexico University.
All three PBS stations in New Mexico, including KENW-TV, which broadcasts from the Eastern New Mexico University-Portales campus in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Education will be broadcasting teaching lessons created by Albuquerque Public School for four hours per day every weekday, starting on April 6 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m.
The lessons will air on KENW’s 3-2 channel.
The school district is creating hour-long lessons for kindergarten through fifth grades, including a sign language interpreter and some Spanish-speaking classes.
Broadcast schedules will be Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for the following subjects and grade levels:
8 a.m.:
- Grades K-1 Fundamentals/English Language Arts Writing
9 a.m.:
- English Language Development Bi-lingual
10 a.m.:
- Grades 2-3 English
11 a.m.:
- Grades 4-5 English
Broadcast schedules will be Tuesdays and Thursdays for the following subjects and grade levels:
8 a.m.:
- Grades K-1 Math/Science
9 a.m.:
- English Language Development Bi-lingual
10 a.m.:
- Grades 2-3 Math/Science
11 a.m.:
- Grades 4-5 Math/Science
