JOUETT SENTENCING HEARING CONTINUES

Clovis, NM (KSMX) – The sentencing process for Nathaniel Jouett continues today. Jouett previously pled guilty to shooting and killing two Clovis-Carver library employees in August of 2017. Four others were also injured in the incident. More than a dozen shots were fired in total. Monday, prosecutors asked the judge in the case, to deliver the strongest penalty possible. They called police investigators and officials to testify and showed video of the scene in the moments after the shooting. Jouett was emotional while the video played.
