INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE FOR CONGRESS IN NM REQUESTS ACTION TO TERMINATE VOTER REGISTRATION OF XOCHITL TORRES SMALL

DONA ANA COUNTY (KSMX) – Steve Jones, an Independent candidate for Congress in New Mexico Congressional District 2 has sent registered mail to the Secretary of State of New Mexico and the County Clerk of Dona Ana County which provides evidence and requests action to terminate the voter registration of Incumbent Congresswoman Xochitl Torres Small.

Jones says, “The 41 page document represents months of research using multiple sources including a private search firm.  I believe the evidence I have provided is more than sufficient to make a valid first step to a legal process that could include legal action”.

Should Jones prevail in his allegation, Torres Small could be found to be a 4th Degree Felon and guilty of violating federal election law.

In addition to sending the document by registered mail, Jones has placed a complete copy of the 41 pages on his website.

In the document, Jones complements both the Secretary of State and the County Clerk for their complete and rapid response to prior requests for documentations in his research.

Jones also stated in the document, that he reserves his right to use the evidence he has accumulated to challenge the results of the election in November should there not be a legal resolution before that date.
