Hillcrest Park Zoo Reopening

CLOVIS (KSMX)- The Hillcrest Park Zoo will reopen on Saturday, August 1, at 9:00 am after being closed since March 17. The zoo will resume its normal business hours of Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and closed on Mondays.

According to the press release from the City, zoo visitors are asked to follow the one-way route signs, wear a face mask and practice social distancing during their visit. Zoo visitors are also asked to visit the zoo in small groups as there are still restrictions on mass gatherings over 5 persons that do not normally reside together.

The zoo gift shop, reptile house and primate area will remain closed to the public. Drinks will be available at the gift shop window or via vending machines on the property. There will also be no wagon rentals at this time.
