CLOVIS (KSMX) – Curry County is under a Hard Freeze Watch from 8:00 PM tonight (Thursday) to 11:00 AM tomorrow morning (Friday).

Residents should expect sub-freezing temperatures between 15 and 28 degrees. Temperatures at this level could kill crops, sensitive vegetation, and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing. Plan to take precautionary measures by covering above-ground pipes, moving plants indoors, and ensuring that your pets have warm shelter and unfrozen water.
