GOV. SIGNS INTO LAW BILL ALLOWING SAME-DAY VOTER REGISTRATION
SANTA FE (KOB) – Today, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed Senate Bill 672 into law, allowing people to register to vote through election day. The Gov applauded the legislators who pushed the bill to her desk. Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver says she believes that voter registrations could be boosted as much as 30-percent as a result of the bill; KOB-TV reports.
