GOV. SIGNS EDUCATION BILLS INTO LAW

SANTA FE (KSMX) – Today, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham signed into law legislation that responds to a lawsuit, by raising public school salaries as well as increasing annual spending on public education by nearly a half-billion dollars; KOB-TV reports. The gov. signed the what she called “key public education legislation” bill, SB 1 HB 5 and HB 589.
