GOV. AND AG PUSHBACK ON “SANTUARY COUNTIES”
SANTE FE (KSMX) – Eight New Mexico counties, including Curry County have become second amendment sanctuary counties and more including Roosevelt County are considering it. Governor Michelle Lujan-Grisham and the Attorney General are throwing pushback, however; noting the law is the law. Despite pushback from the Governor and AG, more counties are joining in on passing the resolution. Roosevelt County will be meeting today at 1:00 p.m. for their special meeting.
