GIRL SCOUTS OFFERING FREE ACTIVITY FOR GIRLS GRADES K-3RD
The Girl Scouts are offering a fun FREE activity for girls in grades K-3rd. To participate, Parents would drive to Rotary Park in Portales this Saturday, November 7th from 10 – 11:30 am to pick up the “Robot Building Party” goodie bag. The kit includes instructions on how to build a robot with your child using materials found around the house along with information on the benefits of becoming a Girl Scout member or volunteer. Research shows that social support, like Girl Scouts provides, is a strong predictor of resilience following disasters. Let’s help our youngest girls bounce back from the pandemic stronger than ever by introducing them to Girl Scouts! All girls are welcome.
