GAS PRICES CONTINUE TO DROP FOR NEW MEXICO
CLOVIS (KSMX)- According to reports from AAA New Mexico, Gas Prices Continue Dropping for the state. The statewide gas price average in New Mexico is $2.71 for a gallon of regular unleaded fuel, according to the AAA New Mexico Weekend Gas Watch. That price is one cent less compared to this day last week and 27 cents less per gallon than this day last year. Pump prices in many parts of New Mexico were at least a nickel more at the start of May, on average, compared to now.
Stable crude oil prices are helping to push prices down at the pump despite tight domestic gasoline supply and robust demand. A bump in demand could push prices back up.
