Final opportunity for seniors to pick-up tickets to attend Clovis High School virtual drive-up Graduation

CLOVIS (KSMX)- Today, June 19, is the final opportunity for Clovis High School graduating seniors to pick-up tickets to attend the drive-up, virtual ceremony. Clovis High School will hold its virtual graduation ceremony for the class of 2020 at three, local drive-up venues at 8 p.m. today.
Drive-thru ticket distribution will be conducted on June 19, between 8 a.m. and noon, in the parking area outside the front office of Clovis High School. Students are scheduled to pick-up tickets in last-name, alphabetic order as follows:
- A – D ~ 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
- E – K ~ 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- L – P ~ 10:00 AM -11:00 AM
- Q – Z ~ 11:00 AM – 12:00
It is essential that any student planning to attend the ceremony pick-up their tickets during this time. Students are to remain in their vehicles during ticket distribution.
The drive-up virtual ceremony for seniors will be broadcast on a large outdoor screen at Faith Christian Family Church. The drive-up virtual ceremony for family and friends who have an admission ticket will be broadcast on large outdoor screens at the Curry County Events Center and Red Arrow.
To adhere to public health orders, and due to limited space, the event is being held exclusively for graduates and their families and is not open to the public. Family members or friends who have not received a ticket in advance of the ceremony will not be granted admission to the event.
Parking will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the ceremony will be broadcast at 8 p.m., Friday, June 19.
Seniors and their families will be required to stay inside their vehicles during the ceremony.
An online virtual graduation broadcast will also begin at 8 p.m. and will be available on the District Facebook page at Clovis Municipal Schools – District Offices.
