False Active Shooter Rumor at NMMI
ROSWELL (KXMS)- Police say rumors of an active shooter at the New Mexico Military Institute are not true.
The institution was put on lock down after Roswell Police had reported a cadet who arrived at the infirmary had a gunshot wound to the arm. However, the cadet claims it was the result of drive-by shooting at another location. The investigation is ongoing.
No other information has been released by Roswell Police.
