ENMU TO HOST ANOTHER PRODUCT NAMING CONTEST TO BENEFIT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Eastern New Mexico University is seeking help to name new ENMU branded garlic and green chile pistachio, a pistachio caramel popcorn, and a spicy date with pecan cookies. Eastern New Mexico University is partnering with Heart of the Desert out of Alamogordo, NM, to produce and sell an ENMU-branded Garlic & Green Chile Pistachios (In-Shell) and a Pistachio Caramel Popcorn. The sweet, crunchy taste of popcorn mixes with farm-fresh pistachio nutmeats for a fun snack, while the garlic and green chile pistachios burst with heat and flavor.
ENMU is also partnering with Snugglecubs Cookies of Albuquerque, N.M., to produce and sell an ENMU-branded Spicy Date with Pecan cookie. Both of these companies are New Mexico True certified companies, and a percentage of the proceeds of these products goes back to ENMU to support scholarships.
“I’ve sampled the Garlic & Green Chile favored Pistachios and the Pistachio Caramel Popcorn, and I can assure you they’ll be crowd-pleasers. This is a wonderful way to help students with scholarships, support great New Mexico businesses and reward yourself and your friends with products that are thoroughly New Mexican,” Said ENMU President Patrice Caldwell.
