PORTALES (KSEL)- There will be 795 candidates for graduation at Eastern New Mexico University’s Commencement Convocation on Saturday, May 11, in Portales. The commencement speaker for both ceremonies will be the Honorable Chief Justice Edward Chavez, a former New Mexico Supreme Court Justice.
Students from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will participate in the first ceremony at 10 a.m. While students from the College of Business, the College of Education and Technology and the College of Fine Arts will be recognized in the second ceremony at 2 p.m. According to Eastern officials, students receiving a masters, associates and bachelors for this fall, spring, and summer academic school year will total 1358.
