ELECTION DAY TOMORROW; RECORD NUMBERS IN EARLY VOTING
NEW MEXICO (KSMX) – Tomorrow is Election Day, though a good number of residents have already cast their ballots for the general election which will see voters choose a new governor and two open congressional seats, in addition to a US Senate race. According to the New Mexico Secretary of State’s office, almost 431,000 ballots had been cast at the close of early voting over the weekend. To compare the voter turnout to other mid-term election years, four years ago there were around 255,000 ballots cast in early and absentee voting. Polls open tomorrow morning at 7 AM and will remain open until 7 PM tomorrow night.
