ECONOMIC SUPPORT FOR RACINO IN CLOVIS PASSED 6-1
CLOVIS (KSMX)- What has seemed to be almost at the final statewide decision of the destination of the 6th and final Racino License has started all over again. However, the local process of finding a destination for the license in New Mexico has started on a good note for the citizens of Vision 2020 who have joined together to actively promote Clovis as a vital city that is ready to grow with new economic possibilities.
Last night at the regular city commission board meeting, the approval for the Request of the Adoption of the Racino as a Supporting Economic Development of Clovis was carried out with a 6-1 vote, meaning the city supports Clovis as the new destination for the Racino.
