DELAYS ANNOUNCED DUE TO WEATHER
Delays have been announced for the High Plains as the cold, wet weather makes its way in. The delays so far include:
•CLOVIS MUNICIPAL SHOOLS will be on a 2-hour delay for all students Monday morning. This includes students in both the hybrid learning model and those learning strictly online. Again, all students attending Clovis Municipal schools will be on 2-hour delay Monday morning due to inclement weather.
SKYALERT SYSTEM CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE: PHONE WEATHER UPDATES WILL NOT BE MADE
The District’s Skyalert system, which makes automated phone calls to families with information updates, is currently unavailable. As weather develops, families and the community should check email and/or Facebook for future updates.
•CLOVIS CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS will have a delayed start on Monday. Classes will begin at 10:00 am. Vans will arrive at Base at 9:00 a.m.
Decisions will be made during the day tomorrow regarding plans for Tuesday and Wednesday.
•CLOVIS NAZARENE is delayed opening until 8:30 a.m.
•CLOVIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE will be operating on a 2 hour delay, tomorrow October 26th due to inclement weather. Campus will open at 10AM. For more information, please visit clovis.edu and all social media platforms for the latest business operational updates.
•CURRY COUNTY MAGISTRATE AND DISTRICT COURTS will be on a 2-hour delay on Monday 10/26/2020.
•CANNON AFB: Due to freezing precipitation turning to light snowfall throughout the morning hours today, a two hour delay for all non-mission essential personnel has been directed. All non-mission essential personnel should not report until 0930L. Unit commanders will determine which personnel are mission essential and non-mission essential for operations during inclement weather. Civilian personnel deemed non-mission essential will be authorized administrative (weather & safety) leave. Additional updates may occur as we continue to track the development of this winter weather and additional advisories will follow.
