DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR SBA FEDERAL DISASTER LOAN APPROACHING
ROOSEVELT COUNTY (KSEL) The deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for economic injury in 13 counties, including Roosevelt County, is December 12th. These low-interest loans are to offset economic losses because of reduced revenues caused by drought that began in March of this year. The primary counties are Cibola and De Baca, but neighboring counties are also eligible. By law, SBA makes Economic Injury Disaster Loans available when the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture designates an agricultural disaster. The Secretary declared this disaster on April 12, 2018.
