DAYCARE DUO IN COURT FOR SENTENCING
PORTALES (KSEL) – The Portales mother and daughter daycare owners convicted last month in the death of a child and serious injury of another, return to court today. Mary and Sandi Taylor’s sentencing hearing are set, where the two are facing up to 18 years each, in prison. Last month, a Roosevelt County jury found them guilty of reckless abuse after the two young girls were left in a hot car outside of their Portales Daycare. As a result, one girl passed away and the other was seriously injured.
