Curry County Youth Services suspend all activities

CLOVIS (KSMX)- In support of recent orders issued Thursday, March 12, by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, the New Mexico Public Education Department and the New Mexico Department of Health to close New Mexico K-12 public schools for three weeks beginning Monday, March 16, in response to the ongoing international novel coronavirus pandemic; Curry County Youth Services is suspending all activities until further notice.
Per a release from Curry County:
“Although there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 in Clovis or Curry County, the health and well-being of our youth is of the highest importance, therefore effective IMMEDIATELY Curry County will suspend all youth services activities. This includes the spring break program HYPE!, teen court activities, required classes, and community engagements.”
