CURRY COUNTY TO HOLD DRUG TAKE BACK DAY
CLOVIS (KSMX) – Coming up later this month, as part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, Curry County officials announced the county will be sponsoring the Drug Enforcement Agencies event. This event will take place on April 27th and allows residents with unused or expired prescription medications to properly dispose of them. Residents may rid their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs by bringing them to Roden Smith Pharmacy on Saturday the 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., as well as at Walgreens from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. During their event last year, Curry County collected 56 pounds of expired and unused prescription medications. It should be noted that the DEA cannot accept liquids or needles at the event. The service is free and anonymous.
