CURRY COUNTY SHERIFF ANNOUNCES NEW UNDERSHERIFF
CURRY COUNTY (KSMX) – Friday, Sheriff Wesley Waller announced the appointment of the new Curry County Undersheriff. Lt. Michael Brockett was named for the position, noting his 17 years as a New Mexico certified law enforcement officer. He is a certified instructor in several police disciplines and a forensic examiner for electronic media evidence. Michael serves on the 9th Judicial District Major Crimes Unit. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice. Michael is a proud veteran, having served in the 150th Special Operations Security Forces Squadron of the New Mexico Air National Guard for over six years.
