CURRY COUNTY RECEIVES TEMPORARY CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR NEW SALLY-PORT
CLOVIS (KSMX)- The new Sally-port at the Curry County Detention Center has been granted its temporary certificate of occupancy.
This allows for the use of the new Sally-port, which was a crucial step as it now allows construction in the new booking area to begin inside the facility. The new booking area consists of a pre-booking and medical exam area, holding cells, inmate property room, and office space.
A permanent certificate of occupancy will be issued upon completion of the entire addition and renovation project for the facility.
HB Construction is continuing work on the new housing and medical addition and that will be the next portion of the project to be handed over to the County for use, followed by the new booking area and video visitation area.
The projected completion is in early 2020.
