CURRY COUNTY OFFICIALS DECIDE TO NOT SEEK EMERGENCY FUNDS
CURRY COUNTY (KSMX) – Despite winds reaching more than 70 miles per hour, Curry County Commissioners decided Tuesday not to seek disaster funds from a storm last month. Emergency management officials say the most significant damage occurred at the events center. There was concern that a declaration would cause insurance rates to spike.
