CURRY COUNTY NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CARES ACT GRANTS
Curry County is now accepting applications for the Curry County CARES Continuity Grants, offering one time grants up to $10,000 to small businesses and non-profit within the county. The funds are part of $322,163 that the county was awarded. These grants will cover:
Rent or Scheduled Mortgage Payments •Insurance •Utilities •Marketing •Business Redesigns •Reconfiguring Physical Space •Installing Plexiglass Barriers •Purchasing Web Conferencing or Other Technology to Facilitate Remote Work •PPE for Employees •Temporary Structures to Mitigate the Spread of COVID- 19 To be eligibility the business and non-profits must be: •Physical location in Curry County and must have (1-50) full-time employees, or equivalent part-time. •Restaurants, bars, short-term lodging, and other non-essential organizations impacted by the States stay at-home order. •Must receive no more than $2 million in taxable receipts annually. •Additional eligibilities noted on application.
Applications can be found at currycounty.org. Awards will be based on a first come basis with fist awards projected to be distributed around October 6th.
