CURRY COUNTY MANAGER APPOINTED TO ENMU BOARD OF REGENTS

EASTERN NM (KSMX) – Yesterday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced nine appointments to the boards of regents for five New Mexico Universities. In an executive message to the state Senate, the governor submitted to the Rules Committee the nominees. Here locally, County Manager Lance Pyle was nominated to the Eastern New Mexico University Board of Regents for a six-year term through December 31st, 2024. Joseph William Gergel III was also nominated to the ENMU Board of Regents for a two-year student regent term, expiring December 31st, 2020. Pyle has served as the Curry County Manager since 2007. He earned a bachelor’s from Eastern New Mexico University. Gergell III is studying political science at ENMU, and has been active in student government and is vice president of the pre-law club.
