Curry County Event Center names new general manager

CLOVIS (KSMX)- Spectra, a national leader in venue management, hospitality and partnerships, has named industry professional Kadee Hande as the new general manager for the Curry County Events Center, effective Monday, January 13.

Hande comes to Curry County with twelve years of industry experience, with roles ranging from livestock coordinator to marketing manager.

“I am thrilled to be joining the Spectra team at Curry County Events Center and to roll my sleeves up and get started in this great community,” Hande said. “As we kickoff this new year, we’ll take a look at enhancing the venue’s big-name events, like the upcoming 100th Curry County Fair, as well as improving and expanding our year-round offerings for the Clovis community.”

The multi-functional Curry County Events Center, which celebrated its 10 years of service in 2019, is fully equipped to host rodeos, livestock sales, kennel shows, concerts, circuses, trade shows, conventions, sporting events, and a vast array of other private and public events including weddings and receptions. Spectra has managed the facility since its opening in 2009.
