CURRY COUNTY ENTERS GREEN ZONE, OPENING DOOR FOR HYBRID LEARNING

With lower numbers, Curry County officially entered the “green” zone. The average daily cases are under 8 per 100,000 at 7.7 and Test positivity rate is under 5%, at 3.90%.

This opens the doors for schools in Curry County to reopen in Hybrid mode. Officials with Clovis Municipal Schools announced their plan for re-entry in Hybrid mode for preschool through fifth grades. The week of September 21-25th, will be used by the District to prepare for the transition of elementary students from to Hybrid Learning Mode. Students in these grades will then switch to Hybrid beginning Monday, September 28th.

District leadership is working closely with state officials to gather further information and details regarding the move to Hybrid Mode. More information will be released, when available.

Unfortunately, in Roosevelt County, the county too remains high for hybrid mode, with 12.50 cases per 100,000 and a positivity rate of 6.50%.
