CURRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO HEAR JAIL RENOVATION UPDATE TUESDAY
The Curry County Commissioners are due to get an update on the jail renovations at their next meeting scheduled for Tuesday. The contractor has asked for a change order in flooring materials, which would result in a savings of more than 25-thousand dollars to the county. The entire jail renovation project is estimated to cost more than 11-million dollars. Once finished, there will be a new housing unit, a new medical wing, and a new sally port. The meeting is scheduled for 9am Tuesday.
