CURRY COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPROVED PURCHASE OF DOWNTOWN PROPERTY
CLOVIS (KSMX) – The Curry County Board of County Commissioners approved the purchase of several properties on Main Street yesterday, with an eventual plan of demolishing the structures and building a parking lot with green space to serve the county jail and courthouse parking needs. The properties are at 817 Main Street in Clovis and were owned by Jesus and Amparo Trujillo. According to public documents, the agreed upon purchase price was just over 46-thousand dollars. The deal is expected to close by the end of February, 2019.
