Curry County Clerk’s Office issues advisement to county residents
CLOVIS (KSMX)- The Curry County Clerk’s Office would like to advise Curry County residents of a recent mailing of Absentee Ballot Applications by the Center for Voter Information, formerly, Voter Participation Center.
If you receive an Absentee Ballot Application in the mail, you are not required to submit it.
- The Clerk’s Office will only mail Absentee Ballot Applications to voters by request.
- Residents are encouraged to contact the Clerk’s Office with any questions regarding election-related mail.
Voters wishing to vote absentee by mail must submit an application to the Curry County Clerk’s Office by October 20. When made available by the Office of the NM Secretary of State, voters may also request an absentee ballot online at NMVote.org.
Voters may still choose to vote in-person during Early Voting or on Election Day for the 2020 General Election. Early Voting will be available in Curry County Clerk’s Office beginning October 6, as well as at the Youth Recreation Building (YRB) beginning October 17. Early Voting ends October 31.
On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, voting will be available at polling places throughout Curry County, as previously designated by the Board of County Commissioners. Any eligible voter may vote at any location, you do not have to go to a specific polling place based on your precinct.
The final day to register to vote in the 2020 General Election is October 6.
