CURRY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ISSUE BORDER RESOLUTION

CURRY COUNTY (KSMX) – The Curry County Board of Commissioners announced their support for border security, requesting that the State of New Mexico and the Federal Government provide support and assistance both financially and with man power to address the security at the border. New Mexico has 33 counties, with three of those counties and approximately 210 miles that border with Mexico. In the resolution, it is noted that a copy was sent to state representatives such as Senator Martin Heinrich, Senator Tom Udall, State Senator Pat Woods, among others.
