COVID CASES FROM THE WEEKEND IN NEW MEXICO
As New Mexico works towards keeping COVID-19 case counts lower, the weekend saw 100 new cases and three deaths related to COVID-19 on Saturday. Curry County reported two new cases, with Roosevelt reporting 4 cases. De Baca County also reported an additional case, bringing the county up to two. Chaves County reported 11 new cases, with eight in Lea and six in Eddy.
Sunday numbers counted 103 new COVID cases, and two new deaths related to the virus. Curry County reported two new cases Sunday, with one new case in Roosevelt County. 29 new cases were reported in Chaves County, 14 in Lea and five in Eddy.
The total count of COVID-19 cases in New Mexico is 26,761.
